  • A single-hung window has a fixed top sash and a movable bottom sash, while a double-hung window allows both sashes to move, offering the ability to open from either end. Double-hung windows are easier to clean and provide better ventilation.

  • The tilt-in feature of our double-hung windows provides easy access to both sides of the glass. For easy cleaning, simply tilt in both top and bottom sashes, clean the glass with a mild cleaner, wipe the tracks, and tilt the sashes back into place.
